The velcro straps make slipping these on a total breeze, even with a wriggly toddler. The lacquered leather feels sturdy but still soft enough for tiny ankles, and the closed toe means no scraped toes during first steps.

The glossy finish on these sandals really catches the light, and I appreciate that the leather is soft enough not to rub against my baby's ankles. Only wish the strap had one more adjustment hole for a more custom fit, but she seems comfortable enough crawling around in them.
