The wool lining keeps her feet properly warm even on the frosty mornings we've had lately, and the dusty rouge color looks even better in person. The waxed cotton laces have stayed tied through a whole month of kindergarten chaos, which is more than I can say for any other boot we've tried.

The metal boot hooks make lacing these up so much quicker than the regular eyelets on his old boots. The leather and suede upper feels sturdy enough to last the whole winter, and the gum sole gives good grip on icy pavement.

The dusty rouge color is just as nice in person as it looked online. I wish the leather was a bit softer out of the box, but the grip on the rubber sole has been great on icy sidewalks.
